Hi! I'm Andrea, a lactation counselor and peer breastfeeding counselor. And the face behind @instinctualmothering.

Let me tell you about myself three years ago. I was right where you are- wanting to help breastfeeding moms SO BAD but realizing the training and the testing and the requirements were so out of reach financially and logistically.

I had already GONE to college and GOTTEN two degrees! Why couldn’t I have realized “lactation consultant” was a thing before I spent 50K on going to school to be a teacher???

I refused to be told that my dreams weren’t possible. I SO MUCH wanted to help breastfeeding moms because for me, breastfeeding was SO BEAUTIFUL and gave me so much confidence to trust in my instincts and my body.

I wanted every mom to have that feeling. So I created my account and learned everything I could about social media growth, marketing and monetizing. I would post but get ghosted when it was time for people to buy. There's nothing special about me besides the fact I decided I was going to do this and I didn't stop.

What can I do after taking this?

Create guides and eBooks, workshops, courses and online postpartum support groups or memberships for moms.

Is this a live or recorded training program?

Think of this as more of an intensive, high touch mentorship program rather than a do-it-yourself course with tons of videos you'll never watch because you're not held accountable. There will be some recorded content but regular meetings to workshop your ideas, "assignments" and live trainings will also occur. Get ready to TAKE ACTION!
Is this for doulas, birthworkers or other people already holding a certification?

Absolutely! You can get a basic breastfeeding education to help your doula clients as well as a full spectrum digital business training.

Will there be meetings and/or required readings for this training?

I am planning on some of the lessons to be live as well as holding Q&A's periodically. The meetings are an important part of accountability and will help you get Andrea's eyes and ears on your offers, freebies and allow you to ask your questions. We will work together as a group to figure out the best times for the live zoom meetings. Andrea is in EST.
